KISS—Keep it Simple & Straightforward

There’s a lot of clutter on the Web—unnecessary glitz that does more to show off a designer or developer’s talents than to convey the client’s message. H3 delivers web sites with a minimum of fuss—both visually and procedurally.

H3 web sites are functional. But functional doesn’t mean boring and ugly. They are both well-designed and good looking. I design sites that real people—your visitors—are going to use, not just look at.

  • A clean design tells your customer that you put them and their needs first—you want them to succeed.
  • A clean design doesn’t get in the way of the visitor—it assists them in accomplishing their goal.

Web standards

I keep it simple and straightforward by using Web standards as my guide. A site that is standards-compliant separates the presentation (graphics, typography, colors, and layout) from the structure (the markup and content). Because I do that, your site loads faster; is easy to use, find, and maintain; is accessible to more browsers, devices, and users; and is affordable.

Content is King—and Queen!

You want to communicate your message successfully. Your visitors come to your site looking for information. Do you do this? Can you provide that? Their goal is to find an answer—quickly and easily. You help them do that with rich, informative content, not bells and whistles like flash spreads. Content will win over your visitor every time.

Visitors aren’t the only ones looking for pertinent content. Search engines, such as Google, suggest you “create a useful, information-rich site.” If Google finds you, your visitors will find you.

Hand-Crafted

Your site will be crafted by hand. Sites constructed using a WYSIWYG editor, while functional, don’t produce streamlined, standards-compliant sites.
